One of our FAVORITE fall recipes…
Pumpkin Bread Pudding
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 eggs (beat with the 2 yolks)
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 (16 oz) loaf french bread cut into 1-inch cubes
- Mix the first 11 ingredients together add in the cubed bread let soak for 30 minutes before baking.
>Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9 x 13 inch baking pan and pour mixture into the pan. Bake for approximately 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
